Exlabesa Architecture’s successful participation at the FIT Show

Exlabesa Architecture achieved an outstanding success at the 2023 FIT Show, the most significant exhibition for the window, door, and flat glass industry, held in the city of Birmingham from May 23rd to 25th.

The impressive booth, covering an area of over 130 square metres, attracted thousands of professionals from all over the country, who came to witness first hand the latest innovations and new aluminum systems presented by the company.

Xlaslide PRO: innovative sliding door system

During the three-day event, Exlabesa unveiled its exclusive Xlaslide PRO, a virtually frameless, panoramic door, allowing unobstructed views and seamless interior and exterior transitions. This elegant solution, designed to allow large glass units, guarantees maximum transparency, thanks to an ultra slim interlock of 25 mm face width, and invisible profiles. It offers unparalleled insulation with U values as low as 1.0 W/m2K. Besides its maximum recommended dimensions of up to 4000×4000 mm and weights of up to 600 kg, this makes the system a highly effective solution to build extra-large doors.

Another standout product that garnered public attention was the Xlaslide. This superb patio door has been enhanced with a concealed frame option, creating a seamless and contemporary aesthetic, that perfectly complements modern architectural styles. Featuring an ultra-slim design and exceptional weather and thermal ratings, the Xlaslide maximizes natural light entry and achieves unrivaled U values as low as 1.2 W/m2K.

Alongside these innovative offerings, Exlabesa Architecture showcased its extensive range of premium aluminum windows and doors, which have already gained recognition and success in the UK market. Among the featured aluminum systems, the Xlafold bi-folding door, presented in a large opening-sized version and a French door opening configuration, attracted public interest.

Made in Britain: Wide range of aluminium systems for the UK market

On the other hand, the KC75 proved to be one of the most competitive casement windows in the market, offering high performance and sleek design, available with a stylish aesthetic or a flush fit sash option. The KT51 Tilt & Turn window, KC51 Casement window, and KS59 steel lookalike window expanded Exlabesa’s comprehensive window range, serving both renovation and new building projects.

Exlabesa also displayed solutions for commercial spaces, including the KTS Thermal Shop Front; a robust system ensuring security and high thermal isolation through thermal breakage. Additionally, visitors had the opportunity to explore the Glass Rail, a fully transparent glass balustrade system designed to provide safety in residential buildings with minimal visual disruption.

Exlabesa’s successful participation at the FIT Show reaffirms its position as an industry leader, offering premium and high-quality aluminum systems extruded in Britain and fully compliant with British building regulations.

From casement windows to bi-fold and lift & slide patio doors, Exlabesa’s range delivers exceptional performance, durability, and aesthetics, meeting the needs of architects, fabricators, installers, and homeowners.
